- Spend the extra money for a nice set of clippers.
My wife has been clipping my hair for years with cheap clippers. I think we've gone through several $30 pairs in 10 years. I've had these Oster clippers for about 2 years and I think they are excellent. They never get clogged and they don't pull any hairs like the cheaper ones. Time spent actually doing the job is also cut down. I read before I bought them that they are heavy and loud - I think that's because they are well put together and well suited to do the job.
Rating: - Phenomenal Quality Clippers
The initial cost is higher than the cheapies out there, but over the life of the product is a bargain.I had one of the cheapies, but after a few months of use the blades became dull and pulled the hair.The cheapies have a life expectancy of about a year.The Oster Classic 76 is consistently cutting even the thickest hair after two years.
You need to order the optional comb kit with the clippers.
