- This is not old fashioned Revere Ware.
Revere was once a good product, but what we have here is not the same stuff. The copper on the bottom is too thin to make any difference other than ornamental.Therefore the pans have all of the heating qualities of stainless steel.They conduct heat poorly.This will be most noticeable in the fry pans.They will be too cold at the edges and too hot in the middle.They will react slowly to changes in the heat. The cookware is wonderful!The pots and pans came quicker than expected. Also, they are just what we asked for.My husband loves the stainless steel so much better than the non-stick surface.

After reading the other reviews, I was a little concerned in ordering the cookware.I was pleasantly surprised.
The surface is not exactly as smooth as the previous set of Revereware I owned, but all in all, the cookware was well worth the money.

I read the reviews of this item and still chose to buy it.Boy, am I sorry!I knew the second I picked the box up off my front porch that this was NOT the quality cookware I was expecting.When I opened the box and picked up each piece I wanted to cry.This is NOT the Revere Ware my father had.This is tinny-feeling junk.It is made from such cheap-feeling, weak materials, you can buckle it in with your bare hands by pressing the sides together.Drop it once & the whole thing would practically ... I bought this set as a gift for my daughter.I own a lot of Revere pans and, after many years of marriage it's still as good as the day I first used it.My daughter is very happy with hers.An excellent basic kitchen set that is sturdy, easy to clean, and is at an affordable price.
