Champions: Return to Arms brings back all the action-packed hack n' slash excitement of Champions of Norrath and more to the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system! The CoN sequel offers more than 100 hours of gameplay per character, unlimited battles, plus the ability to import characters from the original game. Champions: Return to Arms includes a host of advancements to take multiplayer gaming to the next level. Up to four players can connect over the Internet or via Multitap. Play online (no subscription fee) Four-player online action with USB headset support, enabling you to chat and plan strategies, or you can ruffle your opponents with the improved online matchmaking service Player vs. Player Combat Modes (i.e. head-to-head) let you challenge friends to duel and compete online and offline in all new areas Secret content that is unlocked by mastering your skills through a challenging medal reward system 40+ levels to conquer with new mission menu and side-quest systems Ability to import your character from the original Champions of Norrath for further progression Broadband internet connection required for online multiplayer game modes. I loved playing Champions of Norrath and played each character race over and over.When looking at this game - Champions Return to Arms I was looking for something more to do with my characters - new areas, new challenges... That is exactly what I found in this game!In the original, your character is limited to level 50 - after that he/she stops gaining experience (although you can still play without gaining experience it looses fun).This game allows you to continue past level 50 (I have not ... i ordered this game in the beninnging of march and never revieved it.I got the run around twice when calling "customer service" but was finally told I will be issued a refund...I'm not going to hold my breath for that either.I am very unhappy with Amazon for the way they handeled my order and the problems that came up from the order....so now after over a month of waiting, I don't have my game and whether or not I'm getting my money back is still up for debate.

I repurchased this game after selling it two years ago. True, it's similar to the previous series, but the big difference is replay value on the Plain of Eternity. Whatever your character--like that mistress of death and disease, the shadow elf--you'll revisit boss fights that let you retreat while setting devious traps.
In particular, and my reason for repurchase, is the Soul Break stage. You've escaped a cell, with only your fists to fight with. You must release other captives while ... Read More
