- A LOT SMALLER than expected...
This works for a small spoon but not a spatular or anything as it is too small.Would make a good ash tray though.Still love my lodge frying pan though!

- Hmmm...That's one tiny pan
Honestly, I should have done my homework. With no scale reference, I assumed that this would be perfect for making my daily omelete. Turns out it's really a wee itsy bitsy tiny thing. I still can crack one egg into it, but that's about it. I want to transition away from non-stick pans and am still learning how to do it, but man! the food sticks. You have to grease the bugger a lot, I am guessing.

- Tiny spoon rest
When I recieved this item I was surprised how tiny it was. Of course it does say how many inches it is, but just to see how small it is at home is different. It does its job though , I do not have a big gas stove, so it works very good for me. I like it . However if you have a large stove, the spoon rest will probably look too small for it.

- Perfect for roasting spices
A gem for roasting whole spices and making Indian-style 'tadka' or tempering- heating spices in clarified butter before pouring them over food. Wonderful.
