It looks nice, but the spout always drips or spills a little tea when pouring.Therefore it didn't meet the quality standards I expected from Le Creuset.

I have been looking for a teapot for my husbands birthday. He has started to like making tea in the morning instead of coffee to go with his breakfast. This one stays warm and is on the larger side so he can have more than just one cup. I like the fact that it can be warmed up in the microwave if needed. All around the best teapot for your buck.

The product description states this teapot is chip-resistant, but mine chipped almost immediately, and I wasn't even as much like Thor the blacksmith banging around the kitchen with my hammer as usual. Like the ditty states, this is short and stout, delightful to the eye, like the inimitable Earnest Borgnine, a role model for the rest of us. But sadly, this teapot lacks The Manly Man's resiliency: it cracks & breaks & chips too easily. Maybe my teapot was a defective model, but this could be an endemic ... Read More
