Right out of the box this microwave was defective.The door release button didn't work so we never even had the chance to look inside! We sent it right back.

This Sharp was purchased to replace a 700 watt microwave which had lasted "forever". Only time will tell if the Sharp will give as good a service. The touch-pad controls are not very user friendly and the door has a cheap feel when operated. But the unit works well and the compact size is nice.
