- junk Plain and simple
first stack I recived had the spindle broken and had 14 damaged disks the rest I started burning on rest,some burned at 16x most burned at 8x and out of 86 I had left I tossed about 20 from bad burns and this is from a new burner that burned flawlesly before this batch
amazon sent me replacmemnt even thought I never asked for it and then asked me to send the fist batch back thought they send a prepayed return label it would of helped if the read I on the letter I send to inform them about ... Read More

Rating: - TDK DVD+R Horrible Discs
I have personally been backing up my movies collection and burning them to discs as DVD data discs so I can save them as .avi files, allowing me to put like 5 movies on one disc. I have never had a problem with the first 50 discs I burned onto which were Sony and Maxell...I bought these discs thinking I could save a little money and instead I find out that the only thing that will read these discs now is my XBOX 360...My own computer can't even read these discs properly. It shows they have data on ... Read More
Rating: - Cheap and reliable
These sell at a great price and have a very high success rate. I've burnt about 80 discs so far and only had one coaster. Doesn't get much better than that.

I'm not sure why so many people seem to have had trouble with these discs. I would imagine it's a few of the following things: Their burner needs replaced, their computer is too old/slow or they are trying to do something crazy (overburn, etc.).
I've bought TDK several times, and these specific DVD's twice now, I haven't had a bum in the lot (I've used 125+ out of the 200 I bought.) I would imagine that if you have problems with *any* CD/DVD, it can be attributed to your computer, not ... Read More
