The knives came real quickly !
The are very sharp and really great knives.

- Where do I ask where are my knives?????
I ordered 2 sets of these knives on Dec 26, 2008 (Amazon order number 104-0351920-4993852)and had a CD on the same order.The CD came fine but no knives--I didn't realize that the knives were supposed to be in the package--the package was too small to hold anything but the CD.I reviewed my order online and see that Amazon says they shipped the knives in the same package.They did not.I do not know how to tell Amazon about the problem other than this way.Please send my knives.

After reading the reviews I thought these would be better than they are.While they will cut a tomato pretty well, I don't like them for meat or chicken; the serrated edge definitely tears the meat.And I've had a few get rust spots--although a little bit of "Barkeepers Friend" worked wonders.Good for picnics and outdoor events because if they accidentally get thrown away they're very easily replaceable.

- Terrific Everyday Steak Knife
This set of steak knives is identical to the one I got from the Kirby man many years ago. ( Let the man do his Kirby vac demonstration and get a free set of steak knives -those were the days!) Anyway, these knives withstood many abuses, including being used as a screwdriver, a letter opener, even a box cutter. They stayed sharp and intact, and didn't rust in the dishwasher. Rating: - Not flashy but definitely SHARP!!
These are plastic handled, super sharp knives.I think they were a very, very good buy.I use them as our set of 'extra' steak knives for when the rest of them are in the dishwasher/being used.More often than not, though, I'm finding myself using them rather than my other knives.They have plastic handles, though, which makes them look a little inexpensive (which they are!), but they are definitely sharp and and do the job.I even keep 1 in my toolbox!
