I have been using this item for a few years. The recent replacements came in defective. They would not absorb water and as a result did not filter. I sent them back but have yet to receive a replacement.

I had difficulty locating replacement filters in the local stores, so I ordered them online. I received the order promptly and in good condition.

Product not the same as that provided with original machine. These appear to be sub-standard. They work but are not as durable nor do they seem to be as thick.
