Amazon.com Product Review:
Nobody will argue that a clothes dryer is a wonderful convenience, especially in winter or on rainy days. But we're hard pressed to come up with something that smells more glorious than fresh laundry dried in the sun and breeze. And free drying power can't be beat.
This Lehigh line dryer is one of the best we've ever seen: It's compact, yet it has 197 feet of line drying space - enough for four loads of laundry - and the line tension is adjustable, perfect for hanging out heavy quilts. The drying height can be adjusted easily, too, which is good news if you live your life under 5'4" or so.
Installation is straightforward: Dig a hole, place the sleeve, pour in a little concrete. That's it. When you're ready to hang laundry, just slip the pole into the sleeve and open it up. The drying unit is aluminum, making it light enough for anyone to lift and carry it, so bringing it inside after laundry day is no burden at all.
We like the way the lines are cantilevered, getting more hanging room in smaller square footage. There's no assembly aside from setting the sleeve in the ground, either. If you're looking to save a little green and go a little green, this is a great way to do it.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

- Great product
The dryer came quickly and was easy to set up. Instead of using the plastic sleeve that was provided, we slipped it over an existing t-post. It works beautifully.

- WORKS GREAT!!!
Wow...I absolutely love it.It's very light, easy to fold up, and takes limited space to store.I've been using it daily for a month now and have not had any problems. We followed the instructions in placing the plastic sleeve in concrete and it works great. On rainy days when I have some clothes I want to hang dry, I use my wrought iron umbrella stand in the garage or in the basement. The clothes dryer fits perfectly in the stand but need to make sure you balance the clothes evenly and hang ... - Works great until you tighten the line
This line dryer was working fine until I tightened the lines. They were sagging and the clothes were sliding toward the middle of each line.I was just about done tightening the line for the 1st time when I heard a snap and the tension released. A metal arm (one of the four) that attaches via a plastic bracket to the main stem broke through the plastic near the base. All the lines sag now. The plastic cannot be repaired.Possibly replaced. But Amazon does not offer that. The line dryer is now ... Read More

- Worth buying
I wish I had bought this dryer at the beginning of Spring. I have used it a lot since I have purchased it and it works well.Nothing nicer than the smell of fresh laundry straight off the dryer.Hoping to save money on our electric bill too.The clothes line itself could be a little stronger but it just needs tightening up now and then.Glad I bought it.
