- Very good Trimmer
I just received the trimmers today and used them on my nephew. They are definitely better than some of the cheaper ones i have used previously. The shape ups are really nice and clean using these trimmers, they give you a very nice close cut. The reason i didn't give them 5 stars is because they heat up pretty fast, but thats because i did use them for a full hair cut basically. - Great Substitute for Razors/Shaver
I use the trimmer to shave, shape-up and/or shave my head.It's GREAT!It is very comfortable - close cuts w/no nicks, cuts, or scratches. Excellent for the neck area (front&back).I use a different brand of clippers when I'm not bald but I can't use them to shave or shape-up b/c the shave isn't close, the blades hurt trying to get a close shave and I cut myself if I'm not careful.My 1st set of Andis clippers broke after 5-6 yrs, but there's no comparison - I had to go back to Andis.

I've used an Andis T-ouliner before (the more professional and powerful barbershop type of this one) and there isn't too much different.The blade is key, and both come with a T-blade which is the sharpest cutting.I've had trouble with ingrown hairs and slight bump problem my entire shaving career and I haven't used a manual razor in years.I got sick of paying expensive prices for the good quality ones with 3+ blades and replacing them all the time, not to mention they cut so close that I would ... I've been buzzing my own hair for a dozen years or so now. I'm a white male in my early 30s with thin/ thinning hair on top. The in-and-out chain barbers do a terrible job, and if you want a good cut from a real barber, it'll cost you more. So me, being cheap, I've gone through several of these cheaper clipper sets over the years - Remingtons, Wahls, Conairs, all without much success.
