- Amazing product!!!!!!
I have VERY thick, coarse, extremely tight spirally curls. I thought this product was not going to work, a friend from work INSISTED I borrow hers before going and buying the CHI which is what I had intended to do. Let me tell you, she saved me a lot of money. I love this, it works better then any flat iron I have ever owned. Since my hair is so thick and curly I had to blow dry my hair first but I used this iron with some Oil Sheen before straightening and it came out before then at a salon. I would ... Read More

I am not happy (or sleepy, or dopey, or etc.)This flat iron tends to overheat and the coating comes off... on my hair!Please!!This thing should be taken off the market, IMHO.
Rating: - Good Flat Iron for Straight, but Thick Hair
I purchased this flat iron to replace a metal plate 2" flat iron and also a mirror plate 3/4" flat iron. I was using the thicker iron on my hair and the thinner one on my bangs. I wanted the 1" plate with a high heat iron so I would only need to use one, and would also have the option of using this iron to curl my hair. Overall I love this flat iron and it does a great job on my hair, which I would describe as straight, but thick and frizzy.

i have never been very focused on doing my hair, but after trying a straightening iron for the first time before a wedding i was so impressed with the results that i couldn't resist.the price is right, and this model has all the features of a more costly iron.other reviews mentioned that the ceramic plates' coating wears over time and i can already see that this will be so, but for $15 this is ok, i'll probably get another one eventually.it you will use it daily, i would recommend a more expensive ... It does not take 30 seconds to heat up i waited 20 minutes and the darn thing wont heat up fully... my conair is better than this peice of junk.. do not listen to these reviews on here they are wrong.. DO NOT BUY THIS EVER its a waste of time and money the darn thing doesnt even straighten hair... egh
