Product Description:
If youre just listening to sound through a TV, then youre not getting the full experience. But add the high-performance audio of the CineMateTM speaker system and youll complete the picture with ease. Our proprietary Articulated Array® speaker design combines with TrueSpaceTM digital processing circuitry to produce cinematic sweep from just two front speakers. Youll also enjoy a strong center image that locks dialogue on screen with no center channel speaker to cramp your TVs style. The Acoustimass module answers the call for emphatic low notes that grab your attention. It delivers dramatic effects without audible distortion, so you can hide it almost anywhere in the room. The module also houses the amplification for the system. And all the sound seems to come from the small speakers. The CineMate speaker system offers simplified setup that can be completed in no time at all. There are just four quick connections to make, with intuitive one-way connectors eliminating the guesswork required of more complex home theater systems. A slim universal remote control operates your system and most devices attached to your TV. And, in keeping with the spirit of simplicity, proprietary Videostage® 5 decoding circuitry automatically generates as many as six independent channels of audio from non-5.1 sources. So even your VHS classics can deliver the modern presentation you expect from your new video components. The CineMate speaker system. It can make you think about home theater in a whole new way. And youll never look at your TV the same way again.

- worst company ever
its so sad that people are still raving about their sound, have any of you listened to other equipment? maybe the name bose just makes it ok to make and sell junk from the 90s and 80s, other speaker manufactures have made leaps in bounds in music and movie sound reproduction in the past 20 years, bose is the same old bose, they sell the same mediocre stuff(at least its become cheaper) but they still cant get this stuff too work all the time, what are they doing if not upgrading the sound to where ... - Superb 2.1 system...
For over a decade, I had owned an Infinity home theater system...2 main tower speakers, surrounds, and a center channel.Over the years I had added a Harman/Kardon AVR 225 receiver and a Klipsch 10" subwoofer.I loved my system, but always hated the wires that were so obtrusive and such an eye sore.1 1/2 years ago, my wife and I had our first baby and the tower speakers had to go for fear of tipping over once our girl started moving around and leaning on things, and the surrounds had to go because ... - Skeptical but satisfied
After reading some of the reviews, I was a little skeptical about buying this system. When I first setup the system I was a little disappointed. If I follow the instructions, I have to set the TV system to fixed sound output. This would mean the Bose remote would have to control everything, which definitely lacks functionality.I modified the instructions by setting the TV to variable output and setting the Bose system to about 80% speaker output. Now, I can control everything from my TV remote and ... - Great system for the money
This is a great system fior the money. Set it up properly. Turn your TV volume off. Set up per instructions and enjoy. Easy set up works with Harmony remote. Bought this system at Bose Outlet for $350.00. If you have on in your area do the same. It save you $150.00.

Awesomwe! It's not going to replace your surround system nor your floor standing speakers but it'll make your tv sounds 110% better.
