- Not as good as they claim
This knife is just not as sharp as the higher quality knives that cost much more. I have Global and Henckel knives and I use the same tools I use to sharpen them to sharpen this knife but it just doesn't work that well. The blade feel thin and flexible. If you've used any of the $80 knives I would skip this one.

Just as good as the 4" knife, but 2.5" larger for bigger tasks.Good value, good handling, good product.

This knife is one of the best I have owned, especially when paired with a great knife sharpener like the Wusthof 2-stage knife sharpener. In fact the combination of the knife and the knife sharpener mentioned makes Chef Tony'sTV Miracle blades look blunt and painful to use. I like this knife so much I am buying 2 more next week.

Got this knife for my honey for his b-day. He really likes it, which is something. He is a bit of a cook/food snob.

I like this size santoku from Oxo.I bought it after using the 4" for over a year and wanted a good, larger-sized knife.It works well.Feels good in hand.Have to sharpen after each use.(I like a sharp blade.)Can't complain.I use every day.Feels better even on small things like chopping garlic than the 4" santoku.More control.Would recommend if you like santokus.Great that it came as a 4 for 3 offer.Got both Oxo peelers and the liquid dishwashing brush as the 4th item.
