This crock pot is amazing!I read all of the reviews about the switch falling off or breaking but you just have to be careful and I dont see it breaking at all - I can see it coming off if youre constantly twisting it back and forth with force though.Either way, I would buy this crock pot over and over again.It is perfect to clean the sturdy ceramic (or ceramic-like) removable base and the glass cover is great too.We use it all the time now and the price is just ridiculous.Look no more, ... We've had this a little over four months now, although we only really started using it about 6 weeks ago. We've used it at least once a week, and the results are amazing. Having never owned or used a slow cooker in the past, I can't do a great comparison, but I can say how good this little wonder is.
We've followed recipes to the letter and each time the meal has been perfect. Never burnt, never boiled, always tender meat, delicious juices. The low setting seems great for leaving to ... Read More

So far, I really enjoy cooking with this slow cooker. The plastic handles are great for moving the unit (I've packed it up and hauled it to a Super Bowl Party) and I really like the depth and the even heat.
As noted, the "High" setting should be used with caution, but the "LOW" and "WARM" settings are fantastic. Cleaning (in the dishwasher) is hit or miss-so I'd recommend hand washing the ceramic portion...one BIG problem is there's no "LIGHT" to indicate that the unit is "ON" or "OFF" ... Read More
