This was a Christmas gift for a friend. He has found it to be a wonderful blender. He's a bartender at home and gets great use out of it.

I purchased the Hamilton Beach 52754 about a two weeks ago and I love it. It blends well and doesn't leave ice.

This is the best blender I've used. I am so glad I bought one. It is perfect for making summer drinks.
It does what it says. No ice chunks. And that's the truth. You don't have to add an extraordinary amount of water or juice to get rid of ice chunks. I can make a smoothie and still have it thick enough without ice chunks. Other blenders I've used cannot do this. I'd either have to add so much water or juice that the end result is more of an icy juice, rather than a smoothie.

I bought this to make shakes, smoothies and baby food. So far I have made a shake and a smoothie, but no baby food. I have been please with the power and capability... totally worth it. My only complaint is that it's a hassle to clean, but most blanders are. It's also larger than other blenders I have had, so that makes storage a small issue.
