This is my third GF grill. The first two were the jumbo sized grills. I loved using them, hated cleaning them! This one is j-u-s-t right ... it takes up less counter space, the fats drain off easier and it looks nicer. The actual grilling area doesn't seem so much smaller than the large ones I had before.The best part of it is, it is SO much easier to clean!

This grill is the best thing since sliced bread!So far I've only cooked meat and fish on it but at some point I plan to try waffles and whatever else I can think of.I've had one of these grills before but it was back in the day before removeable grill plates existed.I remember wishing for removeable grill plates, since clean up deterred me from ever using the thing, and it looks like my wish came true.

I ordered one it smoked and smelled so bad even after washing multiple times and heating up and cooling down multiple times. I liked the design and functionality of it so I called Salton and got good service and they sent me a replacement. The replacement did not smoke this time but the toxic fumes where so strong I had to have the doors and windows open with the vent fan on high. This review may be redundant to the many other EXCELLENT ratings but I wanted to put in my 2-cents worth.I am single and wanted something that would make it easier to cook for one or two people.Not only is it excellent for that purpose but it cooks the food to perfection and cooks it in record time!How can you beat that?I marinate my chicken breast over night... throw it on the grill when I get home from work & by the time my veggies and pasta are done, the chicken is ready!10 minutes tops! ...
