- The problem with consumer marketed kitchen vacuum sealers seems to be that in general, they tend to suck...
...but not in the way you would hope.
I like to make meals in bulk to see me through a week or more of lunches and such.I bought this sealer to extend that week to 2 solid weeks.I used smaller batches of food for the first 2 weeks and tried sealing a bunch of different things; eventually, though, I settled down to my main use: I sealed big batches of food, with one can following the other (15 quart bottles per event... on average). I bought the Mason jar adapter and just got down ... Read More

- Great things do come in small packages...
I didn't order through Amazon directly but with Your Lowest Price to save $5 or so. I did think penny saved, pound foolish at the time, but the vendor had received good reviews, so I took a chance, and it paid off. I'm very satisfied with the prompt delivery and the product itself. The Foodsaver functions like those that cost hundreds, and it's a cinch to use. Love it!

This particular purchase was a gift for a family member.We have been using the Foodsaver for over a year and it does protect food from ice and freezer burn.Food isis much fresher than when using zip lock bags.Product is easy to use and works well.

This advanced design food saver is great.I started out with the food saver at Costco where the sealing with automatic by sensor and after a month it was working sporadically, so we had to return it .I'm much happier with this one, It's easy to use and I love the simple functionality of it.The fact that you can also just push a button and it swivels to stands up is a great space savor.And it cost less than the one from Costco. I'm a happy food saver, now.
