Ordered this grill on May 14, 2009 from Amazon at the bargain price of $79.99.It's now May 28, 2009 and still no delivery. Mysteriously, the UPS tracking number provided shows no activity other than billing information and Amazon customer service states a refund or replacement can't be processed until the magic date of June 1st.Now, seeing the $20.00 price increase for this item, one might begin to suspect Amazon's engaging in some shipping *monkey business* to avoid completing the transaction ... I have had many box store pizza stones, all of which did not last (cracked). This stone is much thicker and holds heat better. Used it last weekend and got rave reviews on how good the crust was. Highly recommend.

If you've ever been to Italy and had authentic thin crust pizza you might want to consider this pizza maker. It also helps if your grill gets hot enough, it should reach at least 500 and preferably 650 or better.
The size of the stone is great for a pizza the size thats served in Italy and it fits on the grill very well. It doesn't slide around, has edges at the side and back and a thermometer built right in. If you need to make more than one at a time and you have room on the grill you might ... Read More

I have always wanted a pizza oven....maybe someday.But this stone, used on may grill, is the next best thing.My husband had guy night and practiced on "the guys" in the neighborhood.All I hear from the wives, from their husbands,is how great the pizza was.So not to be out done I used the stone it iswonderful pizza.I actually heat the grill to 500 degress for 15 min.Then I turn the fire off under the grill and leave the other burners on....then in 4-5 minutes a pizza comes out done and ...
