The toaster part of this product never worked and the egg poacher worked about 3 times...fortunately for me the seller sold two and neither one worked so he refunded my money without me having to return the product.

I really like this gizmo. I bought one about 2 years ago and it died after about a year - the heating element just stopped working. I am hoping this one will last longer. If it dies I won't buy another one.

Back to Basics TEM500 Egg-and-Muffin 2-Slice Toaster and Egg PoacherI purchased this Egg and Muffin toaster on Nov. 25, 2007 for a Christmas Present.This was the second Egg and Muffin toaster I purchased, the first toaster lasting almost 2 years.
The one I purchased in November, the egg poacher is going out, sometime it works, sometime it doesn't.So, the toaster lasted from Dec. 25th, 2007 to May 27th, 2009.
But when it works, it does a great job.Debating if I should ... Read More

I have to buy a new one of these because ours has stopped toasting.It lasted 3 years.I have no idea how long a toaster should last, but I'm buying another one.Guess replacing every 3 years is OK.
