- Great Ironing Board
This is a solid, heavy-duty ironing board that should work well for many many years. It is extra wide, which makes ironing easier. The feet are substantial, so there seems to be no risk of the board slipping.I think it is worth paying more to get quality in this product.

I read all the reviews here and while I was a little concerned over damage in transit that some had mentioned, my ironing board arrived in excellent shape.The board is very wide, which I wanted, and it is very stable.I had an old cheapie before this one that wobbled--not this one!I knit sweaters and needed a wide board to pin the pieces on in order to block them before sewing them together.This Rowenta IB-6200 will certainly do every thing I want it to do.I like the iron resting plate which ... This is a fabulous board, big lot of room, perfect height, no more back breaking work, wish I had purchased it years sooner.

I bought a display model of this ironing board three years ago, and I adore it.
As a sewist, I spend a lot of time pressing fabric.The larger surface area of this board has made this a simpler and quicker process.This ironing board is also taller and more stable than others.The area to set the iron and hang hangers is also a plus.
The only downside is that the bulk of this board makes ironing shirts difficult.I still need a regular ironing board to iron dress shirts.

Excellent ironing board - well worth the investment, because it will last longer than many other investments.The reviews here on Amazon are spot on - it's wide and allows you to easily move clothing around to get a good ironing surface.The iron holder is flexible enough to adjust to your iron's shape, but still solid.It is heavy - but not difficult to handle.
