Product Description:
Featuring a log-periodic design for UHF reception, the PHDTV3 offers a narrow angle of signal acceptance that helps reduce multi-path and increases reception of DTV signals. In addition, the product's design helps reduce spurious or unwanted signals from the side and rear for uninterrupted programming. The PHDTV3 also features a very low noise amplifier with adjustable gain up to 10 dB to maintain excellent Carrier-to-Noise ratio that is critical for digital reception. With approximately 10 percent of DTV broadcast transmissions in the VHF band, dual VHF 40 inch dipoles make the PHDTV3 equally adept for VHF DTV as well as analog. With an impact-resistant plastic cabinet and glossy silver paint finish, the PHDTV3 provides excellent performance in an unobtrusive package. Featuring a low-profile contemporary style, the PHDTV3 boasts the same basic footprint of the original Silver Sensor Classic with added attention to design.

- Just OK
I have 3 HDTVs at home and though I have DishHD I prefer OTA with the built-in TV tuner.I have an older Jensen power antenna, a Samsung TV5.4 SAX and this one, the Samsung is the best performer and pulls in 100% of all locals in the SF Bay Area and never needs to be moved. This Philips pulls in about 60% on a good weather day, extremely directional, between NBC and ABC/CBS/FOX (NBC on SB Mtn, others on Sutro), I would have to move it around to get signals. Oh, the Jensen works about the same as ... Read More

- Review of PHDTV3 indoor Antenna
Antenna has worked as stated, because of my location it has to be adjusted for different TV stations.
Rating:
- Works 42 miles from the broadcast source
I put this puppy in my attic and get all available channels except for 1.At 42 miles from the source that is great for an antenna as small as this one.

- Perfect antenna
I recommend this antenna for everybody who dont like to pay for the commercial cable (70-80$ /mon).I can receive4-5 channel HDTV (cbs, abc, msnbc, fox) from this antenna. For me, it is enough channel to see.
