Looking at the reviews,my problem is not a rare occurrence.i received this cd-rom software that was defective. I emailed them 3 times but never got a response. they only responded after a complaint was put through amazon. I wouldn't buy anything else from oc tech.

Rating: - A great instrustional for typing
I purchased this product for my 9 yo son to learn to type. He absolutely loves it. My goal was for him to do 2-3 lessons per week. After the first lesson, his response was, "Can I do another one?" He actually asks me if he can learn more of his typing (several times in a day). I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to learn to type.

I bought this to help me with my Medical Transcription schooling. It did that and now my kids are learning to type with it too. They play it before their non-educational games! It's a REALLY great product!
Rating: - Trouble with screen size
I purchased the Mavis Beacon(Version 17) to increase my typing speed. I don't bother using it much because I have to change the pixel size of my screen to make it small enough to fit.Then the appearance is a little too small for my liking.After my lesson, I have to change the pixel size back again.As a result, I don't bother using it much.Fortunately, I also purchased Typing Instructor Deluxe (Version 17) and I am very happy with it!It is easy to navigate, has very pleasant graffics, lots ...
