We love this coffee maker. Over the years we've used a lot of coffee brewers (some very expensive and fancy) -we love our coffee strong and flavorful. We've had several Bunn products over the years and recognize the quality. This model, while simple and basic, is superior to a Cuisinart that we were using. (It was the model with the thermal carafe, programmable). We weren't satisfied with the taste of the coffee considering that we buy good fresh beans and grind each day.
