Apparently there's nothing in Kabbalah that disallows sweaty, head-spinningly good dance music, because here comes a flame-haired Madonna hawking a dozen songs' worth: Confessions on a Dance Floor darts seamlessly from Madge's early days, when she emerged as the genre's enduring darling, through the political, kiddie, and acoustic pap that drove a wedge between her and early adopters of the fingerless glove look. "Was it all worth it/How did I earn it?" she asks on "How High," a song featuring vocoder. "Nobody's perfect/I guess I deserve it," comes the answer. A later lyrical inquiry is left for the listener to judge: "Does this get any better?" Madonna wants to know. But that opens the door to a dizzying proposition. - CONFESSIONS THE BEST DANCE ALBUM CREATED
Confessions is trully an amazing production, these powerful songs flow seemlessly into each other, you never wanna skip a song. I was at a stage in my life when I thought I could never be blown away by an album the way I used to when I was young, but this album did it for me. Stuart Price did an amazing job in production, you hear beats that will take you to orbit, Madonna vocals are incredible, she seems to get better with every album. All the songs are a great listen but a few outstanding songs ... Read More
Rating: - It Took 30 Years, But Someone Finally Made a Disco Album I Like
When disco first emerged, my motto was pretty much "Death before disco."I have to hand it to this woman--she made a disco album that I love, and play frequently! Excellent taste, musicanship, and phenomenal production values! It took 30 years, but disco finally experienced its culmination!

I wasnt a big fan of the two cd's that came out before this one. I liked alot of her stuff that she's done before in the 90's and 80's. I was sketpical about buying this,but I figured it couldn't be to bad, I heard a crap load of buzz about this cd when i actually bought it in borders. Alot of americans were skeptical as well. I listened to it,and couldn't stop listening to it. This album was really big when this came out, and really made her cool again. All the tracks are very fun to listen to, and ... Read More

In my humble opinion, M's last greatest album was ROL. Music was-decent/okay, American Life was -er, uh, not so good. But here on Confessions, she kicks it once again into high gear, Madonna style.
There are only a couple fillers on this album and the rest is awesome. This album does not get as much rotation as other M albums, but I do have repeat listens. Perfect for working out or driving through the park or ... Read More
