Rating: - Works OK with XP
I am satisfied with the way it works with XP. The documentation is somewhat difficult for me to understand. I had problems making it to work under Vista.

- Better than expected
All I wanted to do was increase the size of my C: partition, but I was told this was hard to do. Then someone told me about Acronis. In a matter of minutes I was able to increase the partition size without even reading the instructions. I'm sure the product does other things, but it was easily worth the price for just the one function I needed.

I have never written a product review in my life, but my experience was so bad I needed to stop some other poor fool from buying this stuff.Before spending money on this product, go to their (Acronis) website and search "invalid partition size" on their forums.I fought this stuff for 6 hours, then realized that the product has a bug that they can't fix.They have a build they will ask you to try when the product doesn't work, and drivers when that doesn't work, but it is clear they have not ... I could not give this a zero but that's what it deserves.
First of all they make all kinds of claims of what this software can do but if you try it you will find it does not work.
Secondly it can downright destroy your hard drives. The experts on their own support forum warn again and again that "It may not work, so back up your drive first!" Disk Director for PC
Will not let me resize the primary partition.Only gives me an option to "shift" the free space around it.
Gave me errors when trying to resize a logical partition.Can only contact Tech Support by Email, they ignored my requests.
I use to use Partition Magic - worked like a dream!.Only tried this product because Symantec purchased Powerquest (the original maker of Partition Magic) and seems to be bent on killing the product - they are not updating ... Read More
