- TEAC CD-RW880 CD Recorder
This device records audio to a cd. Input may include radio broadcasts , audio cassette tapes or other CD's. You need to be able to hookup these devices to this TEAC recorder. It is easy enough. You may record to a CD-R
(one time) or a CD-RW many times. I record about 1500 hours per year and this purchase replaces the one that lasted about 2 years. All of my original CD_RW's are still functioning after use of 100 to 200 times each. Remarkable!!
My only complaint is the technical help line. ... Read More

- Must have for a musik lover
This is a high quality device for cerating CDs from LPs and making compillations. It is easy to operate and has many useful features. It would bebetter if it also had an optical out. The limitations which are thereare not in the device but in the fact that digital copy are usually blocked at the source. However analog copies are always allowed.

- Mostly satisfied
I've owned this unit for only about a week and I've already logged about 50 recording hours, copying everything from hard rock to classical music. I'm very pleased with the sound quality and I've found the controls pretty easy to master, even though I'm not usually good with new instructions. I don't have a working CD drive in my computer so I'm using the Teac connected directly to my audio system which includes a Sony CE595 CD changer, and I have the two decks connected via both optical cable and analog. ... - Picky with CD-R Audio Media
Had to Return because of playback error on too many brands of CD media. Unit looks professional and worked everytime with Maxell media. Never worked with MAM-A or Memorex media. Would not play some disks burned on a computer. Going to buy the $599 unit from Tascam to get around the SCMS limitations. Amazon took my return with no problem so far.
