Rating: - Good little player/recorder
This is my 2nd SanDisk 512. It has a good headphone connector, where others got loose.
Recording is excellent, especially if you get some free audio editing software to cut the clipping and amplify the person furthest from the mike.
Only drawback is that one cannot select ALBUMS or other ways to find a file except by the toggle switch, which is tolerable, but a bit annoying when files do not load in sequence onto the player. Nicer to be able to play by album or somehow, in sequence, when ... Read More

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, for her 8th brthday!It works very well and it very easy to install and download songs to.It is the perfect size and for the price, I am very pleased with the quality of the sound and the different features it offers.She loved it and now she can enjoy her music without the ipod price tag!

I have had this MP3 player for the past 2 years and just bought one for my mom.The only time I've ever had a problem with it was when it shut off because of extreme heat.This was only one time out of hundreds of uses.For the money, I would definitely recommend this MP3 player.It holds plenty of songs and even comes with the armband for exercise.I would definitely recommend this!

I requested this after reading many of the reviews and comparing with other similar products. I just wanted something to listen to while exercising, working in yard, and woodworking, etc. This little guy is perfect. I've used the strap to attach it to my arm, then run the speaker cable through my sleeve and out the neck to give me full range of motion with the cable flopping around and snagging on any tools I'm using.
