3000 pages so far, flawless operation.Configuration webpage makes viewing print status easy.Warms up fast (10sec).Prints fast.Does envelopes well.Minimalist and refined user interface. Cheap replacement cartridges.Easy install.I looked at Samsung, HP, Dell, and this printer beats them all on features and value.

Yea, I got tired of fillin them dam lil cartidges. Especially that Epson junk I bought....clean, clean, clean, clean.....fil again.
Now, with the laser jet, it's got a humungus cartidge. Never get flags that say "CLEAN"

Ultra fast (although duplex printing is fairly slow)
Duplexing works flawlessly (and saves trees!)

I purchased this printer for 160 dollars on Amazon for use as a network printer with GNU/Linux computers. Setup consisted of inserting the toner, plugging the printer into the power outlet and into a port on my network switch. I then turned on my laptop, which is running K/Ubuntu 9.04 32-bit, and connected it to my wireless network. From my Kubuntu's menu system I selected "Printing" (It should be the same tool that Ubuntu uses), then clicked Server->New->Printer. The computer then detected my printer ... Read More
