- Filter is probably working
I'm using this filter according to the instructions and so far no calcification, so it's probably working! I think it's too pricy, but as long as it's doing its job, I'll continue to use it.

- Only filter for Jura Capresso E-8 machine
I have a Jura-Capresso E-8 coffee maker and this is the water filter that it calls for.We have never had any problems with the filters and they are pretty simple to change.We always keep one on hand so we can change it when the machine displays the message "replace filter".The only other place that we have found these is Williams-Sonoma.

- They work, but the Capresso machines still clog over time.
I don't live in an area with particularly hard water, but the filters don't seem to handle regular water that well either.It works, but after a few months (with regular filter changes) the Capresso will build up sediment and end up dripping coffee instead of gushing.

This filter has worked well in our Jura. The coffee tastes great. We don't have to use the hard water tablets because we have always used the filter. They are a bit pricey, but worth it.
