I purchased these boots for my son to use in outdoor Scout activities over the summer.After 3 major activities (1 week of youth leadership training, 1 week of summer camp and a 50 mile backpacking trip in Yosemite), these boots were COMPLETELY shot.I have purchased other military boots in a similar price range for this same son and he's now passed them down to his younger brother in good condition - so it's not the price range.The quality of the tread is TERRIBLE!After the first two activities, ... For walking all day, I found the boot to be very comfortable; I weight 160lbs.If you are looking for rugged, this boot is not it.The leather is very thin and the boot feels very light.The speed lace feature makes putting on the boots much easier than conventional boots; pull the top edges of the boot appart and the laces slide.The boot looks as good as it does on the pictures.

nice boots... looks great... i love them... the only problem is that the sole wears too fast... and they are not too much confortable.
this boots aren't made for walking as the nancy sinatras' ones...
but as i told you, they have a nice look and you just need to put some inner soles to make them a little softer...
