Seventh Generation Recycled Paper Towels absorb spills quickly and work hard, even when wet. These thick and thirsty towels are also lint-free, making them a perfect choice for cleaning windows and other reflective surfaces. Made from 100% Recycled Chlorine-Free Paper
By choosing Seventh Generation Recycled Paper Towels, you'll be making an important environmental difference immediately. These paper towels are not whitened with chlorine and are made from 100% recycled paper (80% post-consumer, 20% pre-consumer). Hypo-allergenic, unbleached, strong and absorbent, these towels will help you keep your home and the environment clean.
Post-consumer paper is paper that has been recycled at home or at the office. Buying post-consumer paper helps finish the job you started--of saving the earth's natural resources, including trees, water, and energy. And using products made from post-consumer recycled materials helps reduce the need for virgin wood pulp, which means more trees are left standing. Trees naturally absorb carbon dioxide--a greenhouse gas that's the primary contributor to global warming. In fact, a single tree, over its lifetime, absorbs about one tone of CO2. To put it another way, a ton of recycled paper saves seventeen trees.
If every household in the U.S. replaced just one roll of 120 sheet virgin fiber paper towels with 100% recycled ones, we could save: 1 million trees, 2.6 million cubic feet of landfill space (equal to over 3,800 full garbage trucks), 367 million gallons of water (a year's supply for 2,800 families of four), and avoid 38,000 tons of pollution. And because these towels are unbleached and have not been treated with chlorine, you can safely compost them in your garden when you're done using them.

- Absorbs about 1/2 as much as bounty
These towels are good enough for what I want them for, to spray and wipe down the cat box area. But for spills and to actually absorb they are worthless.I did a test with a bounty towel and the bounty towel was ready for more but this towel was just pushing water around. So its good for some uses and bad for others. So for spray and wipe its perfect, a 5 star. For picking up a spill its a 1 star.

- Good enough
A bit on the expensive side, but works well enough for me. I use cloth napkins a lot so I'm not a great judge of paper napkins, but for what I've used these compare well to other paper napkins. They aren't as soft as some name brands, but I don't care for that.

- Pretty Good Paper Towels--but If You're Looking for Plush, These Aren't for You
I've been using these Seventh Generation Paper Towels for a couple of months now. They hold up well during household chores and everyday use.The rolls are fairly large, so they last a while. The paper towels do seem to be slightly smaller than the Basic paper towels I was using before, but they still get the job done.I like that these paper towels aren't bleached and they are made from recycled products.
I will warn you though, If you like plush, super absorbent paper towels, these ... Read More

- Good intentionnot economic,needs improvement
Unfortunately, this product does not absorb water or other liquids as good as other brands. I end up using more sheets for a single spot, therefore,I finish a roll much faster than if using other brands (Bownty is my brand of choice). And it doesn''t clean as well either. I welcome and support 7th generation products, but this one needs to improve.

- Good eco-friendly paper towels
These paper towels work well and are environmentally friendly. They are also free of chemicals and dyes which is a plus when I'm heating something up in the microwave and need to cover it or when I'm making french fries or bacon and need to soak up some of the grease. They soak up liquids just fine when I use them for cleaning. They aren`'t very soft, but they aren't very rough either, somewhere in the middle. I'm not one to be picky about things like paper towels so I like them just fine. Also combine ... Read More
