I bought this pan in a department store on a whim; I had a gift card that was about to expire. I have some All-Clad and was hoping to find another All-Clad pan to add to my collection; I was not too surprised when I could not. I "settled" for this pan. It's not much of a "settle" because this pan is great.

First off, I am a devoted Cuisinart cookware fan; I own nonstick hard-anodized, stainless steel and Multiclad pieces. I bought this piece because I couldn't find a Multiclad Chef's pan in any size.

It's very nice - great, mirrored finish interior & attractive brushed exterior, with a safe, good-fitting (not too tight) mirrored lid. I love this line of stainless cookware.I bought a 10 pc set, loved it so much I keep looking for more pieces to add.It is very good quality, cleans up beautifully and I'm sure it will outlast me.This particular piece is great for a variety of uses.It is already one of my favorites.

This was the 16th & 17th piece added to my growing Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless set of cookware.
The first time it was used was to make a double recipe of Tapioca. After adding the 5 1/2 cups of milk, I could see that I was going to be stirring contantly "up close to the edge" so I transferred the mixture to my 3 qt sauce pan.
I'm sure the saucier will be very useful in the future, but at the time I was stirring the Tapioca, I wished the overall dimension across the top was 1/2" - 3/4" narrower ... Read More
