The Intermatic magnetic trip wireless alarm provides safety, security and convenience. Mounted with double-sided tape to a door or window frame, the alarm sounds a piercing 90 dB siren when the magnetic contact separates. When the code is entered on the on/off switch, the alarm is activated/deactivated. This switch operates on and includes three replaceable 1.5-volt button batteries. This ivory security system comes with a 6-year limited warranty.

- A real screamer!
Very good delivery. After an attempted break-in, I purchased and attached these units to my doors. I also paid attention to earlier Amazon reviewers of this product and bought a roll of double-side tape instead of using the tape that came with the product. If you haven't made other arrangements to protect your windows and doors, consider these.

I bought these for my mother who lives alone for her windows & doors. They were easy to install and I did use velcro to hang them instead of the supplied glue strips due to other reviews stating they fell after a short period of time. I think she feels more secure, they are loud.

I purchased these alarms to put on some windows in our walkout basement.The alarms are not real loud, but loud enough to be heard upstairs.The dogs definitely heard them and raised a ruckus because they hurt their ears.Easy to install and inexpensive.
