As a Registered Dental Hygienist, this is the same model night guard I wear and recommend to my patients! Excessive grinding and clenching of the teeth can be extremely damaging. Premature failure of dental restorations, breakage of teeth and gum line recession are common problems associated with the grinding/clenching habit known as bruxism. In our dental practice we make custom fitted guards that sell for hundreds of dollars but we offer these as an alternative when cost is a concern. The kit comes with two separate mouth guards and depending on your mouth size, you choose which one worksbest for you... Because it is not custom made for your mouth its not going to be a perfect fit, but it does the job... Sure, its not perfectly comfortable, I guess I didn't expect it to be anyway because it is a piece of plastic in your mouth, but it is not that bad. You do get used to it with time. This night guard worked out great and saved me $400.00!I used the smaller of the 2 mouth pieces. I had to reboil it as the first time I didn't place it my mouth correctly. I would recommend this to anyone.

I would like to purchase this in a BRIGHT color.There is no way to select the color and I do not want black! I was unable to contact this seller.When I mouse clicked on "contact seller" button it just directed me to Amazon.com customer support and then required an order number.Without an order number I could not get past the customer support page!Very disappointing!

The small guard is pretty much useless after it warped and shrunk.
The large guard works better than nothing, but I hope to quit using it once my professional guard comes in. The large guard is rather bulky too.

I bought this for my wife hoping that she would stop her teeth grinding at night.After trying it the first night, she told me that the mouth piece feels like a hard piece of plastic in her mouth. It felt so uncomfortable that it caused her to drool on the pillows and in the morning she found it spit out on the bed.
