I am a semi pro jingle writer and audio post producer and was looking for a "smallish" midi keyboard that would help to speed things up in the Studio.I also have an older Ozone which I love, but I was looking for something with a few more features.As I'm already a fan of M Audio gear, I started by looking at their site.The Axiom 25 fit my budget and my desk, so I decided to give ti a try.What a winner!Keys are a million times better than the Ozone and the transport controls allow me to ... - Fail piece of equipment
This product simply does not work. It never worked correctly from the start and I bought it new from Guitar Center. It shuts on and off and will only work for a limited time before shutting off again requiring exiting my DAW.
I posted this on M-AUDIO forums asking if it was my fault and If I needed additional USB power, the Tech well understood that there was no fault of my own and I received a faulty product and will now require me to mail it in for repair. I have to pay shipping and will ... Read More

This is a good keyboard for high-end non-professional users. It's a little bit over-complicated, surely anti-intuitive, and sometimes I don't know why the volume drops down. Perhaps it's just hte fact that, being the keyboard anti-intuitive, I need to touch something that I don't imagine. Obviously, you can read the 300 pages PDF: if you can do that, you pass the border between amateur to professional and, after a while, you'll send back the keyboard for a professional one...

at first when i got this i was kind of mad because it didnt come with instructions so i didnt know what the heck to do so i spent a couple days searching the internet how to assign the pads and everything. once i got it working it worked amazingly. love it. if you like making beats/instrumentals definitely get this. i think this is really good for starters
