iPod does not sit on stand because you have to plug in to bottom of iPod.Would not recommend to anyone.You will find out how good Amazon's return policy is.

I bought these for my daughter because of the great reviews they received. We were very disappointed with the sound quality. If we turn the volume up higher than 1/4 way up the lever there is a terrible buzzing sound. I thought we just got a defective product so I had Amazon exchange them for a new pair. These sound just as bad out of the box as the original set. I am going to return them. I LIKE THAT IT'S COMPACT AND THE SPEACKERS HAVE GOOD QUAILTY.
IT COMES WITH IT'S OWN ADAPTER. THAT'S A PLUS.

These speakers are small, compact and portable. I connected a 2 GB mp3 to it and was immediately impressed by the quality and volume of the sound. If you are looking for simple porability and good design at an affordable price, this is the one you want. I use mine for work and I'll use it for camping. It runs on AA batteries or with the included AC adapter. When it is folded up the speakers are protected behind a plastic cover which doubles as a base. I would highly recommend this product.

I use this as a docking station for my Archos device and have it by my home gym.I would rate these as pretty decent sound quality.You can buy better sounding speakers but of course you will pay more.Pretty easy to use.The transformer and power cable are large and heavier but in my case I don't care as I don't travel with these.There is a compartment for four AA batteries but I have not used it yet.
