I purchased 6 of these and every one of them constantly fails in every application I've applied this this on every server and station (Windows, LinUX, Apple).

Just accidentally put my 2-year-old 2GB data traveler through the wash (cold cycle) and the dryer (medium heat for about 15 minutes, when I wondered what the rattling was), and it still works fine.

I got these to use on the new fax/copiers at work so that we could save the contact information in the event we have a power failure or the machines dies.They are great for my need.
