- Low Pressure Cooker
I recently bought the two low pressure cookers because I had bought one from HSN and wanted to order another. Guess what I got two for the price of 1 by buying them off of Amazon. This is great to make stews, and soups quickly, and you don't have to wait for the steam to stop to take off the top. You just need to turn down the heat, just wait a minute or two then take the top off to add ingredients or to check on the cooking. It's good when you need to make a lot of something and I can use two pots ... - Superwide
Well, had my heart set on the 3qt. braiser by Kuhn Rikon, but couldn't justify 300 bucks for a single pan, so settled for this.
Excellent weight, heavy bottom, well fitted tops. Just wish it was hard anodized. Fit and finish excellent, and got a great deal on it too.
This is at least twice as wide as my electric cook tops, recommend for gas ranges. All this cookware is made for BIG families !
This was packed well in it's own box, but doubled in the amazon box, it slid ... Read More

- Takes longer to cook
I really liked the quality of the product, very heavy stainless steel, excellent construction work. But it took much longer to cook as was expected, didn't worked like a pressure cooker. Many nice features but its not for me. I wanted something which will cut the cooking time, but it didn't.

- What a great product
These pots work great as a low pressure cooker and can be used as regular pots. The 9 qt pot can fit two whole chickens. The smaller pot is great for one pot everyday meals. The extra pressure really infuses the food with more flavor in the same amount of time.I sometimes use the smaller pot to make sauces. When you lift the lid, the flavor and smell of basil in a marinara sauce really comes through.
In general, meats take about half the time using the pressure top. I usually use ... Read More
