I can't say enough about the poor quality of Uniden phones.I purchased these (but with the 4 phones and then purchased an additional 2 units) 2 years ago at one of the big box warehouses.I bought Uniden because of the glowing reviews in Consumer Reports and on the Amazon site.What a mistake!

you wont be disappointed, worth every penny, intuitive menu system...the monitor and intercom functions rock...with a new baby in the house I can ask for a hand from the other end of the house, no shouting, no squirming out from under a sleeping baby to go get something, great speaker phone quality on the handsets and the base means you can change a diaper or do situps while you talk.
