- Cute holiday family movie
Cute holiday family movie. Dolly Parton plays a country singer, Ruby Diamond, who meets an untimely death. Before being allowed to enter heaven she must do a good deed and help a family. Ruby becomes the nanny for a family mourning the loss of their mother. The father has become a workaholic and the children feel neglected. Her mission is to bring this family together. This is a cute Christmas movie for the whole family.

This Dolly Parton Christmas movie is full of romance, comedy, tragedy (she dies in the beginning) and has a great ending.Parton, a country singer stuck in a dive in the middle of nowhere swerves to miss a deer on her way home from a gig and dies in the accident.Her entry to heaven is pre-empted until she can prove she is a "giving" person.She is sent back to earth to be a nanny for a family that no longer believes in Christmas.Sparks fly everywhere in this one.
