Like the other reviewers said, this is an excellent tampon and definitely much healthier than using the generic drugstore brands that add chemicals to your tampon to make you bleed more.

However, be aware that these tampons DO NOT come with any applicators whatsoever. It's just the actual cotton tampon wrapped in plastic. ever since I read about cotton being made from the parts of the cotton plant too high in pesticides and chemicals to be feed to cattle, I use only organic cotton for personal items.These items are easy to use, easy to conceal, discreet and effective.I shared them with several friends who didn't know they weren't conventional and never noticed a difference in performance.

Well, if you're looking at this item, then you're already interested in it's non-toxic, non-chemical properties that Amazon describes. Other things to note: since it's all natural and organic, it's a great product if conventional items give you allergies. I personally don't mind that there's no applicator, but when there's more flow it's easier to get it because it lubricates it (sorry if you think that's gross, but it's true).
