About the HP118K 23 Gauge Pin Nailer
The 23-gauge pin nailer kit from Bostitch is ready to upgrade your woodworking operation with its hefty pin capacity. This tough model holds fasteners from 1/2-inch to 1-3/16-inch, which is a generous 19 percent increase over competitive models. Specially designed to minimize downtime, the HP118K's side-loading magazine adjusts to different fastener sizes automatically and houses up to 200 pins at a time; and the low-profile tip tapers down to the contact point for a clear line of sight from any angle.
The HP118K is packed with helpful convenience and performance features, including an integrated high/low power control for precise depth setting without changing your compressor settings. It also boasts a dual trigger for safe operation, 60 in./lbs. of power, a rear exhaust, and an overmolded grip for maximum comfort. This versatile nailer can countersink 1-3/16-inch pin nails into hard woods -- even oak and maple -- with ease.
With its lightweight aluminum body, the HP11k weighs just 2.17 pounds so you can lift and drive fasteners all day with less effort and fatigue. And since it's such a compact little brute (just 7.81 by 9.06 inches), you can maneuver it into all kinds of tight spaces without a hitch or a hang-up. This nailer accepts Bostitch, Senco, Accuset, and Porter-Cable 23-gauge pin nails; and this kit includesthe nailer, 1/4-inch air fitting, and a plastic carrying case -- plus 500 each 1/2-inch nails, 3/4-inch nails, and 1-inch nails.

Powerful, Adjustable Fastening for Precise, Clean Work

With this tool and set of 23-gauge pin nails, you can save time and money by preventing damage to work surfaces. Designed to keep you in control at all times, this nailer offers an adjustable high/low power control that sets pin depths without requiring you to adjust your compressor setting. It backs this precision with the ability to deliver 60 in./lbs. of driving power, so you can be sure that each pin is securely seated.

It features a low-profile nosepiece that tapers down to the contact point which offers a clear line-of-site for perfect placement. An over-molded grip ensures slip-free handling, and it is balanced to sit comfortably in your hand during extended use. And, for added comfort while you work, the nailer's rear exhaust directs air away from your face. The pin nailer also features a reversible belt hook for convenience on the job.
Its compact body is easy to maneuver, which is of particular importance when doing intricate work like crafting custom cabinetry or picture frames, and, thanks to a durable, lightweight aluminum housing, it weighs just 2.5 pounds.

- Just bought,, works fantastic
Just got the nailer (pinner?) last week. It sinks pins perfectly in both Oak and pine right out of the box. Love the "invisible" holes, and my dog really appreciates the lower noise level. I don't use my 18 Ga nailer much anymore.

- 23-Gauge Pin Nailer
Carpentry/woodworking is my hobby and I use several air nailers on projects ranging from light construction and remodeling to furniture. The Bostitch 23-gauge pin nailer proved to be what I needed for work on furniture projects. The driven pins are virtually invisible and work equally well in soft wood or the most dense hardwood.
My only disappointment is that the 23-gauge fasteners are not commonly found at Home Depot or Lowes. However, they are easy to order from Amazon and a ... Read More

- great tool
Used this to attach the trim and door stops when installing the interior doors of my house. It leaves a very small hole which is hard to detect without looking for it. Used it alot without any problems. Would highly recommend it.

- Great Deal
I received this pin nailer as a birthday gift and have used it mostly for nailing very small pieces together for children's toys.I am very impressed with the ease of use and smooth handling.I had read other reviews about it not fully seating the pins but never found this to be the case.I drove 1" pins into red oak and they went fully below the surface. When set to the lighter setting they did protrude but that was expected.
Care must be used with the trigger arrangement but this is common ... Read More
