- Keeps Mom Happy!
I bought my mother a pod coffeemaker for Christmas, and she loved the concept but wasn't thrilled with the coffee prices in the supermarket. I saw these on sale, bought them for her, and she said the coffee was excellent, and thought the price (about 20 cents a cup) was very fair.

This stuff is very good.I look forward to it every morning and think I will never buy Senseo pods again! Yep, it is that good! It is bold, but not too bold and never harsh.The pods also fit perfectly in my Senseo coffee maker.

I took a chance and ordered these pods for my Melitta 1:1 coffee maker.(Yes, they, fit.) Quite honestly, this is some of the best coffee I have ever had.It's smooth and delicious. When I served it to company, they also really enjoyed. The pods I ordered were the French Roast. This coffee, to me, tastes better than upscale restaurant coffee or quality coffeehouse stuff.I was disappointed to see that the pods went up in price and was reluctant to re-buy, however, the price went down again ($22.02!!) ... I had gotten so used to the weak cup of coffee you get from the other pods I've been using, that when I tasted my first cup of the Millstone French Roast, my face took on an expression that can only mean "Now that's a good cup of coffee!".It was really laziness that brought me to try them out.I was nearly out of coffee pods, but didn't feel like making the trip into town just for them.Amazon to the rescue.I was, of course, taking a chance since there are 96 total coffee pods, but with the other great ... Re the Senseo brewer: I have found that by using a single pod of Millstone French Roastin the 2-cup strainer and then pressing the 2-cup brew, I get a fantastic cup of coffee...try it.
