This model replaces an identical model that we just plain wore out. We use the 6310 all day long for everything possible and are very pleased with this product. Hopefully HP keeps making this for some time as we have had such good performance from it that we plan to keep replacing them as we wear them out.

We replaced our old HP Officejet 6310 with a new one (the old lived a long and useful life; it was time), and we did it with Amazon because, as usual, the price was very right.Considering all its responsibilities, this printer takes up little space, and gets the job(s) done - simply enough for two folks who are not terribly adept at technology.Its only flaw - printing is somewhat slow.Other than that, we give it an A+ for quality, durability, and ease of use.

My XP computer died and I got a new computer with Vista. The scan function doesn't interface with Vista and no Vista driver is available.Since I wanted to scan, I will now have to replace this machine.I found it an acceptable printer.Print quality is ok not outstanding. The paper tray is small, about 30 pages.I had hoped for more from an HP product.

This was the last HP product I'll buy.

I bought it with the intent of getting a decent product at a reasonable price. I got the latter but certainly not the former! What a piece of junk!!

Generally speaking, you do get what you pay for. So, I'm going to buy something a bit more expensive, but not an HP product. Incidentally, the is my third and last bad experience with HP.

Perhaps I should have purchased the printer BEFORE I bought all of that paper... lesson learned...Now I can actually USE the paper for something other than paper airplanes, crayon coloring, and wallpaper.

In any event, this printer/scanner/copier/fax machine/photo printer/trans-dimensional teleportation device is merely "fair", hence the three stars.I was disappointed that it didn't have wheels or a motor engine.That would have been cool.
