- Rachael Ray Gusto Grip Knives feature a patented synthetic rubber and polypropylene orange handle to help keep your hand from slipping.
- NEW F¿ri Guard antimicrobial inhibitors are incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto-Grip handles during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade the handle materials over time.
- Each knife has a solid forged bolster and tang constructed from one piece of the superior German CrMov stainless steel alloy.
- The handle is pressed into the thick tang and then a stainless steel counterweight is pressed into the tail for perfect balance.

This knife chops very well but does NOT cut or slice very well at all.Perhaps it isn't built for that but I thought it was.

I saw a kitchen show that said you don't need more than three knives in your kitchen providing you have an excellent chefs knife. This certainly is that.

This Rachael Ray knife is great. I do love the handle, it makes the knife virtually slip proof! Good quality and a great price.

I've used this knife for over a year and it has performed very nicely, up until the inner plastic handle broke. Now it is held together by the urethane outer grip but broken on the inside.If the knife had a full metal tang all the way to the tailpiece, it would be really nice but the handle is truly just plastic.I do not mind the orange color, it kind of grew on me.Now if I can just find out how to use the limited lfetime warranty hopefully they will replace it.It did perform as well as much ...
