- DeLonghi EC155...did not live up to the BAR32 not even close!
I ordered this after my DeLonghi BAR32 of over 3 years died thinking it was going to not exceed the other model, but do a decent job;But there were problems out of the box
*The seal around the portafilter leaked
*Espresso came out hot, not piping hot
*The steamed milk did not get hotter than 110 degrees ( Should be 130-160)
*after used of the machine, it still dripped for like 20 minutes
*the ground espresso from Starbuck (been using ... Read More

- Good dorm room or low end machine
Debated between giving it a 4 or a 5, w/ the understanding it is a low end machine, qualifies as a 5.
One deficiency is the steamer wand is a little weak.Won't really foam the milk, just kind of heats it slowly. And extra glasses to clean afterwards, because only a shot glass or something short will fit under the espresso nozzles, not a cup.And yes the wand won't reach deep into a glass, so actually you could probably heat your milk in the cup and then pour the shots and anything ... - If you want a facial with your espresso, this may be it!
I really was excited about this machine. But the problems started from the moment I turned it on.You need water in the machine to operate it of course, but the steam/drip doesn't seem to ever stop as it is supposed to--like when you need to take the gasket off to fill it.The steam sputters everywhere and I ended up always wasting lots of coffee and lots of time just for a simple cup.I sent it back.

- Excellent Expresso Machine
I was concerned with the espresso machine quality. DeLonghi EC155 is very easy to operate and produce an excellent coffee espresso.

- Good Value
I'll be short and sweet - the Delonghi in my my mind represents a good value for the money. It makes acceptable expresso (i'm being very critical here, in that i have never had except for a couple of times in small coffe places good expresso in the US), the only major flaw is that the frothing wand is too short to reach the bottom of my pitcher i use for milk.
