- Makes a Great Espresso
This is my fourth espresso machine.The other three were all Mr. Coffee Pump Espresso machines, but an older version of what you currently see available.I got tired of replacing them because they have a max life of 18 months IMHO.I bought the DeLonghi EC155 because of its favorable reviews ANDits price. After less than a week I can say that I like this machine A LOT.I will describe how I make a cup of Americano and deal with the "issues" that some reviewers have had with this machine. ... Read More

This machine make fine coffee, but is very slow.First: the machine needs to heat the water for 25 minutes before brewing.Yes, 25 MINUTES! at first i thought it a mis-print, but no, 25 minutes.Second: if you are doing a double shot, you have to pause inbetween shot 1 and shot 2.Third:the coffee this machine produces is never really hot - luke warm at best.Customer service told me to run a vinegar-water solution through it to clean, but this did not help at all.The visible water level ... This capucino maker is a wonderful item. It is very easy to use and not too big to have out on my counter. The capucino is hot and delicious. I am very happy with my purchase, the price was very fair, and the delivery was quick. I will happily recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good capucino.
Rating: - it's is ok but not great
it got too expensive going to sturback. it worth the money. you just need to know how to work it out. if you like very hot coffee then you need to work with the frother for about a minute so it will get hot because the coffee itself do not come out hot. i have the machine for about 1 month and it already paid it self and i don't have to go anywhere to get cup of coffee. i gave it 4 stars because the coffee is not hot, witch i do not care but some people like there coffee very hot.

i have had this machine for about a month now and its my first espresso machine. so far i love it. i think it makes a very nice shot with a nice carmel colored crema. my barista friend who uses a comercial machine from when he owned a coffee shop says it looks as good as his. this is a totally manual machine however so its up to you to run the machine to extract just how you want the shot to end up. only drawback i have is frothing 2 cups of milk back to back, you need to let the machine recover a ...
