Rating: - Excellent Blender
This product blends smoothies and anything else you need blending, fast and efficient. I was having problems with my previous blender not being able to handle ice, frozen fruit and blend smoothly; however, the Oster BPST02-B Professional Series Blender is excellent. My protein fresh fruit smoothies are very smooth. The cleanup is quick and easy. Thanks.

First thing, this is not the cheap weak plastic model you are used to.The main housing of the blender is made out of metal and feels nice and heavy.It also has a nice sturdy base with rubber feet, which keep it from wanting to flip over or move around.I have used it to make smoothies, crush ice, and whip up a pesto sauce.For all of these things it worked very well.Secondly the glass jar has a nice heavy feel and is nicer for mixed drinks.It also looks really good against my black counter ... Great blender. I've owned it for two years and treated it with total kid gloves for the first year (dropping in ice when the blender was already on, washing after every use) and still do, but it managed to withstand the fumblings of an extremely sloppy roommate who filled the whole thing with ice before turning it on (notorious for breaking the motor)! So far so good!We have been looking for a decent blender for awhile and have gone thru a few of them.We love smoothies and now we don't have to fight with the blender to chop frozen fruit and ice.Takes only 10 seconds now.Very satisfied but it has only been a month so we'll see......
Rating: - Works great, but it's loud.
We've had this blender for a few months now.We use it exclusively to make smoothies in the morning.It makes quick work of frozen peaches, strawberries, mango chunks and the such in combination with OJ and yogurt.The on/off and pulse switch is nice and very easy to operate, you don't need the dozens of buttons on the old-fashioned blenders.This blender is very loud, made worse so by the fact that we're making the smoothies first thing in the morning, when our ears are more sensitive to noise....
