Customer Reviews
Average Rating:

Rating:
- good and inexpensive
This has been a good rice cooker. The bowl isn't a cheap finish, it makes good jasmine rice and for the cost, it's very good.
Rating:
- Great rice cooker
For a relatively inexpensive rice cooker, this product offers a lot of other options in addition to cooking rice. Compact and easy to carry from counter to table with the handy handle. It is easy to clean and reassemble,
and can be tucked away into your cabinet due to its compact size.
Rating:
- Wonderful rice cooker!
I LOVE this rice cooker.Admittedly, it's the only one I've ever owned, so I have no basis for comparison, but everything I've put in it has come out perfectly, including brown rice (just soak it for 2 hours before cooking).I use it all the time!It is a little annoying to wipe down around the steam vent, but otherwise, I have found nothing wrong with it.My husband and I eat rice at least once a week, so it gets used a lot!
Rating:
- Basic rice cooker, doesn't do brown rice without prep work.
This is just a basic rice cooker that has a vegetable steamer insert. It does not have a brown rice setting. If you want to make brown rice, you have to soak it overnight. Not ideal for a busy lifestyle. Also, the water level measurement lines on the inner bowl are very hard to see since they are the same gray-black color as the rest of the bowl.
Rating:
- Convenient, wish it had a Stainless pot
I don't understand the "hard to clean" complaints.I have used it 30-40 times and have done nothing more than a wipe down. The pot is so easy to clean it is disconcerting.Recent data I reviewed did not look good about these non-stick coatings - so I wish I could get a Stainless steel insert for it.
If buying again, I would make stainless a priority.Until then, this sanyo works great.no other complaints at all.
