- Question about sizing.
I am planning to buy this jacket for my boyfriend and don't know what size to get. He's about 6'4" but is medium built. Do you think a large will be big enough? There's no information on this page.
Please respond! :)

- The best a man can get!Carhartt is the bomb!
I work construction in Washington state and I can tell you first hand during fall, winter and spring, we get plenty of rainy weather! The jacket is great since it has a tough PVC outer shell and a canvas/nylon inner shell. The bib trousers are great and have an extra PVC layer on the knees to prevent ripping. The bibs also have knee pad pockets on the inside so if you're roofing (like I do), you can put some pads inside the knee area of the bibs and keep your knees from being uncomfortable all ... - Extremely unattractive, in green or yellow
This product is great for working, or boating, or sporting, but not to wear around. It is almost blindingly ugly. Not a typical Carhartt handsome and city-friendly, garment.

- The last rain coat I'll ever buy
Carhartt has hit another home run with me. This is one incredibly sturdy, heavy duty garment. It has a totally waterproof layer of rubberized membrane over a nice canvas base. The elastic cuffs are a bit snug, and the coat weighs more than the averge rain jacket, but I work outside and won't have to worry about tearing it on the smallest snag. This is a coat suitable for commercial fishermen. I'll be buying the matching bibs for sure.
